Medicine Track App Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 2026
1. Introduction and Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Medicine Track App. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and ALMAREN LABS LLC, a Delaware limited liability company located at 8 The Green, STE 23103, Dover, DE 19901, USA ("Company", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our medication reminder application — published in the app stores under a descriptive name in each language, "Medicine Track App" in English and "İlaç Takip Uygulaması" in Turkish (the "App") — and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The App is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no advertising.
2. What the App Is — and What It Is Not
The App is a medication reminder and tracking tool. It lets you record the medicines you take, set reminder times, mark doses as taken, and — if you choose — let a family member or caregiver help you keep track.
The App is not a medical device, and it is not a healthcare provider.
- The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- The Service does not recommend, calculate, or verify medicine doses. Every medicine name, dose note, and reminder time in the app is information you or your caregiver entered. We do not check it for accuracy.
- The Service does not check for drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, or duplicate therapy.
- The Service does not contact emergency services, your doctor, or your pharmacy.
Always follow the instructions of your physician and pharmacist. Never start, stop, or change a medicine based on what the app shows. If you believe you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number immediately.
3. Reminders and Alarms — Important Limitations
The App schedules reminders on your device. We cannot guarantee that a reminder will always be delivered, or delivered on time. A reminder may be delayed, silenced, or missed entirely for reasons outside our control, including:
- the device being switched off, out of battery, or restarting;
- battery saver, "doze", power management, or app-hibernation settings on your phone;
- notification, alarm, or exact-alarm permissions being denied or revoked by you or by the operating system;
- silent mode, focus modes, or Do Not Disturb;
- the app being force-stopped or removed from the device;
- changes to the device clock, time zone, or operating system;
- loss of internet connectivity (this affects caregiver-triggered alerts in particular).
Do not rely on the App as your only safeguard for any medicine that is critical to your health or life. Keep an independent reminder — a pill organiser, a written schedule, or another person — for such medicines. You accept this risk when you use the Service.
4. Age Requirements
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. If you are under that age, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
5. How Your Account Works
The App does not use an email address or a password. When you first open the app, your device generates a random account identifier along with two separate codes. It matters that you keep them apart:
Your connection code — this is the one you share. It appears as a QR code, a link, and a six-digit number. Giving it to someone lets them follow your medicines, and nothing more. You can withdraw that access at any time (see Section 6).
Your recovery code — this one is private. It lives in the app under Settings -> Recovery Code and stays hidden until you ask to see it. If you lose your device, reinstall the app, or clear its data, this code is the only way back to your records, because we hold no email address, phone number, or password for you.
You are responsible for understanding what this means:
- Never share your recovery code — not even with the family member who follows your medicines. Anyone who has it can open your account and see and change everything in it. To give someone access, give them the connection code instead.
- Keep your recovery code somewhere safe. We cannot recover an account without it.
- We will never ask you for either code by email or message.
Earlier versions of the app used one code for both purposes. If you shared your code back then, you can replace your recovery code in Settings -> Recovery Code; the old one stops working immediately.
6. Caregiver Connections — Sharing With a Family Member
The App lets another person (a "caregiver" — for example an adult child, spouse, or carer) follow your medicine schedule remotely. This is entirely optional.
How a connection is created. A connection can only be created when one of you deliberately shares a connection code — as a QR code, a link, or a six-digit number. Nobody can connect to your account without one. A connection code grants only the access listed below; it can never be used to open your account or to recover it.
What a connected caregiver can do. Once connected, that person can:
- see your medicine list, including medicine names, notes, photos, and reminder times;
- see your dose history — which doses you marked as taken and which you missed;
- add, edit, and delete medicines in your account;
- change the display name on your account;
- send you a reminder and trigger an alarm on your device.
This is real health information about you, visible to another person. Only connect with someone you genuinely want to have this access.
Seeing and ending connections. In the app, open Tracking -> People Following Me. That list shows everyone who currently has access to your medicine data, and lets you remove any of them yourself, immediately — you do not need their agreement. Deleting your account (see Section 8) also removes every connection in both directions. You may also contact us at info@almarenlabs.net.
If you are the caregiver. When you manage another person's medicines through the App, you are handling their health information. You confirm that:
- you have that person's knowledge and permission to do so, or you are their parent or legal guardian, or you are otherwise legally entitled to act for them;
- you will use their information only to help them with their medicines, and will not share it with anyone else;
- you will stop and remove the connection if they ask you to.
You — not the Company — are responsible for having the right to access that person's information. We are not able to verify the relationship between two connected accounts.
7. Your Content
You may enter medicine names, notes, and photographs of medicine packaging ("Your Content"). Your Content remains yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store it, display it back to you, and show it to caregivers you have connected — nothing more. We do not use Your Content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train any model.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that contains another person's information without their permission. Photographs should show your medicine packaging, not other people or unrelated documents.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account. In the app, go to Settings -> Delete My Account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your medicines, your reminder schedules, your dose history, your medicine photographs, your notification records, and all caregiver connections to and from your account, from our active systems. Your account cannot be recovered afterwards — not even with your recovery code.
For details, see: https://www.almarenlabs.net/meditrack/account-deletion
Uninstalling the app does not delete your data from our servers. Use the in-app deletion if that is what you want.
We may also suspend or terminate access if the Service is used in a way that breaks these Terms or harms other users.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party providers for a small number of technical functions: cloud hosting and database services (located in the European Union), image hosting for medicine photographs, and a push-notification service used to wake your device when a caregiver triggers an alert. Apple and Google distribute the app and provide normal operating-system and store services. What data is involved, and where it goes, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms if you downloaded the app from their stores.
10. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, text, graphics, and logic associated with the Service are the property of ALMAREN LABS LLC. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use the app. This licence does not cover Your Content, which remains yours.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALMAREN LABS LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including any missed, late, duplicated, or incorrect dose, or any health consequence arising from reliance on the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory law of your country of residence, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted.
13. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, delete your account.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. To the extent permitted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence (including applicable consumer protection rules you cannot contractually waive), you agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware, USA shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. If mandatory law requires a different forum for consumers in your country, that law will apply to that extent.
